Mary Alex provides both domestic and international
consulting services for: Program planning and development, capacity building, organizational development, resource generation (through the use of all
types of fundraising campaigns), development of media and communication
strategies. For Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) conducts website strategy (with a donor's lens on) & enterprise
development tactics by isolating new streams of funding.
Other specific areas of expertise for Mary Alex include working with women of
"new wealth" around the formation of donor circles, launching and reigniting capital
campaigns, boosting major gifts programs and Board development. Mary Alex's
unique skill set is to help nonprofits and NGOs fundraise from the Diaspora
(grouped mainly from their country of origin) by isolating the communities
where most reside, and then generates media and donors in those areas.
Prior to communications & fundraising, Mary Alex was involved in the
Broadcast Journalism field where she was a co-producer for KCBS All-News
radio and also for the local NPR (KQED) in San Francisco
